i'm so sorry,
i've not been blogging in a long time
haven't got much time where i get to sit in front of the computer and start typing like this
So,where to begin?
yes, yes, the guitar lessons are coming around fine, so are the drifting lessons.
I'll start with the secondary 3 camp.
well...
It ROCKED!!!I won't elaborate much, but i'll go through the camp in as much detail as i can.
Since i'm sick, typing this stuff out of the computer right now, and trying to learn a new song at the same time.
so... right,
We started the camp, in our groups
i was in cypress group 3
so yup
our instructor was Mei Zhu, (if i'm not wrong, the St Johns would know who she is)
on the way there to Jalan Bahtera (home Sweet Home!)
we introduced ourselves on the way.
but it was mostly Mei Zhu who did the talking,
we asked her lots of questions.
we got to the campsite
ahhh, blisss, EMBRACING NATURE!
so, we reached Jalan Bahtera (AGAIN, remember the church camp?)
we got to our bunks
argued over our sleeping spots.
and changed into our shorts/ bermudas.
if i'm not wrong...(lemme try to recall)
We started off with Kayaking...
wait, no
i remember that campfire preparation was before kayaking
so what was before that...?
I think it was, lunch?
Perhaps, but for now, we'll stick with lunch.
So after lunch, it would be campfire preparation
dunno, why but its me who ends up leading the campfire preparation
though it didn't go too well.
There was this Girl called Jamie, very enthusiatic and kept cheering me (c'mon Jackie!)
then we all went kayaking (at this time throughout, from the campfire preparation, we were with gorup 4)
So fun, but 1 1/2 hours passed by so quickly
was extra hyper after the kayak, the water woke us all up (i think?)
we were allowed to do something that BB has never allowed us to do in kayaking before!
they let us stand on our kayaks, hold hands, and sing songs!!!
So campfire perparation,
was very nervous,
then i learnt that i could actulay bring a guitar to this camp
i mean,
THAT THEY ACTUALLY ALLOWED US TO BRING?
"provided that you can carry it, of course" said the instructor
NOOO!!!
changed out of our wet clothes
and then yup, prepared ourselves?
sorry, i'm not thinking clearly
then dinner, and the night game? followed by supper and wash up
The next day,
We did high elements (but i didn't, haha)
then rock climbing
then lunch
then it was more campfire preperation,
this time the group was a little more co-operative. managed to get something out of them
and settled at a skit.
then we did flying fox,
faiz was very funny here,
he was trying to high-5 us as he came down.
More campfire preparation,
then dinner.

Now that i'm typing all this out
i notice that the camp is mostly campfire preparation
After dinner
THE CAMPFIRE!!!
we saw many other groups doing the skit
ours, i think it was the funniest.
we did a talent show,
i was the host
this was what happened
i was to introduce the judges and the contestants
Judges:
Ms Yes (Farah)
Mrs CJ7 (Annabelle, apologies, i don't know how to spell her name)
Mr Gatsby (Wei Kang)
And the contestants were made up of groups.
They were:
1. Twinkle Twinkle Big Big Star (Ken, Yun Ting, Abigail, and one more guy whose name i can't seem to remember)
2. Alvin and The Cheapskates (Alvin, Jamie, Sharon, Jeanine, remember got more people but can't remember)
3. The SexyBacks (Faiz, LTY, Sem, 1 more person who i can't seem to remember)
It starts of with the TTBBS, which did pretty well, but got yelled off stage by the judges
Then LTY and douglas did the Mocca Ad ("Hi i'm selling my house!")
(here i made a mistake, i said Alvin and the Chipmunks instead of Alvin and the Cheapskates)
Then Alvin and friends came out, sang a duet with Jamie (At The Beginning)
Followed by SexyBacks (Much applause)
Lots of Adult content for the SexyBacks, so won't exactly elaborate. (i'll think about putting more in the future)
We would let the audience choose who would be the winners by cheering
and the results would be announced after the commercial break
WE did the FedEx ad,
"MR zhang, delivery for you!"
and from behind the audience came out the entire group, chasing poor douglas!
back to the show*
SexyBacks won of course
and the audiences wanted an Encore
i couldn't give them one, because of time constraint.
and chief Eunice(camp IC) whispered to us
"If you want to do an Encore, do it without the
underpants"
(whoops, so you can probably guess what happened)
last day of camp,
spent the day packing up and clearing
our instructor told us some jokes while waiting for the cleaning equipment
then we went cleaning the toilets and singing our group cheer
for some unknown reasons,
at the end of the clearup session
the entire group was soaking wet
(guess what happened)
we sprayed a little water for fun to the girl's side,
And they "DECLARED WAR!"so yup
ENd of School camp
then reached back school, said tearful bye byes, and
proceeded to fall in for CCA!I'll elaborate more on Josaih's birthday and an amazingly vivid nightmare i had next time(next post)
