About the previous post,
i told you about a church countdown party i was rushing to go
right?
so here,
i'll tell you what happened
right,
me and wei kang reached there late,
and we didn't know what exactly to do
so, we played cards downstairs for a few minutes
and then, on nice guy told us that the rest were upstairs
listening to the pastor talk
we went up
listened to te pastor talk till 10
(we went there at 8.30, i think)
Then,
THE COUNTDOWN PARTY STARTED
the adult played their games
the BB boys
(that includes Me, Wei Kang, Nevin and Yan Keng)
stuck together.
later some of us went out to buy some strepsils for Nevin
who was coughing REALLY badly
I stayed with him
after the games, we listened to the radio
for the countdown
all of us were given party poppers
HOORAY!!!
12 MIDNIGHT!!!
"BOOM!"
*all turns heads*
"whoops," i said, a blown popper in my hand.
(the paragraph above is mostly bout crap)
So at 12 midnight
the singtel lines were so filled
i couldn't send a single sms or make a call
we played with sparklers
then the adults started to leave.
so they left the church youth in charge
YEAH! Around 15 of us left in the church
so we went into the control room to play cards for a while.
Then went into the bolm hall,
to chat with the rest and to use the laptop there
but the internet freaked out at the last moment.
so i just went around eating snacks.
then at around 1-2 am.
someone called us out of the bol hall
we went to the basketball court
someone had bunched up a group of sparklers together (roughly 20+ sparklers)
in the middle of the sparklers
there was on taller than the rest
we gathered around it
not everyone, some of us weren't interested
then, they lighted the protruding sparkler
it started to "spark" slowly down
then when it reached the bunch
it suddenly flared up
there was a giant fireball
lots of people were screaming.
someone showed me a video on his camera phone.
there was a small light
(phone camera's aren't exactly night-vision)
then a giant flare up as the entire screen became white
lots of screaming from the speakers
i watched another guy's one
he was standing so close to the "bomb"
when it flared
he fell back
you can probably guess the power and heat we felt.
there was a giant cloud of haze around
and it floated away
we got bored
made a few sparkler rockets
blew up a few trees (just kidding)
i went to the playground at the miniature field at the back of the church
we played there for a while
made A LOT OF NOISE
no wonder the police came
and asked us to tone down.
no one called the police, it was a regular night patrol
at around 2.30am
we decided to make a Heroes parody
really funny
but it wasn't finished,
a quarter of the filming crew fell asleep before we finished
our "Nathan" fell asleep.
We needed a Clair
Ah heck
i gotta go,
i'll elaborate on my later posts.
